A member of the Garnet family, Andradite is often used to make Garnet gemstones. This Andradite has excellent potential as a gemstone, with various shades of brown with highlights of yellow. Specks of Pyrite can be seen on a lower edge. The lighter darker browns meet in a crosshatch pattern on the dodecahedral surface of this miniature-sized specimen.
