Fluorite with Baryte, Black Forest, Germany, Large Cabinet-Sized Specimen

Platy aggregates of Baryte top a bed of transparent smoky Fluorite crystals. The Baryte crystals are white in color. However, an agglomeration of brown crust tops one side of the Fluorite for a nice contrast.  The Fluorite is translucent and glassy. An earthy luster is given off by Baryte.
