This deep purple Fluorite has bands of light purple stripes crossing the crystal faces diagonally. On the bottom, bands of light and dark gray are encased beneath a transparent layer of crystal. Veins of light gray run subtly through the center of this rectangular piece from the Burtree Pasture Mine in Cowshill, Weardale located in  County Durham, England.
