A smoky center and transparent top are not the only things that make this Smoky Quartz special. The well-defined crystals have a diamond-like formation at the top and work as prisms refracting light into a beautiful spectrum. There are several smaller, equally well-formed crystals protruding from the sides of the two larger crystals that make up most of this specimen.
