Glaskopf means “bald-headed” in German, and this specimen certainly fits that description. Crystals of this mineral have a rounded, scaly appearance on the back and underside and multiple lobular protrusions which taper to points on the front. It has a black metallic luster in many area and a dull metallic luster in others.
